T-Zone

The T-Zone on your face is seen as the most troublesome and the commonest area for blackheads, whiteheads and pimples to occur. The T-zone is shown in the diagram below, a clear T-Shape can be seen. It is all the way across the forehead, extending onto the nose and finishing at the chin.

Why is the T-Zone so prone to blackheads?

Did you know, every day of your life, you will touch you face - conciously or subconciously, 85 times a day? And do you REALLY know how clean or sterile your hands are? This spreads dirt and bacteria onto the sensitive skin on your face and can cause pores to become blocked.

Stress can play a big factor in causing blackheads, if you're under high amounts of stress the first place you will see a blackhead or pimple will be on your nose or chin, as these parts of your face are the most sensitive.

It is also very prone to blackheads because it is very easy for dirt, dead skin cells, oils and bacteria to collect there. The contour of the face is enabling bacteria and oil to gather in the crevices and corners around the eyes, lips, chin and corners of the nose, which means pores are easier clogged.

Different skin types in T-zone. Most people have more than one skin type somewhere along the entire strip in the T-zone. There is always a combination of oily, dry or normal skin.
